Your Gateway to Adventure!
The Mountain Shop Adventures Co., Ltd. is located on Koh Yao Noi, in Southern Thailand. KYN is a small island in Phang-Nga Bay, between Phuket and the international climbing destinations Railay and Ton Sai. Private beaches, quiet villages, extremely friendly locals, and spectacular views are what you will find on this beautiful island. You will also find some of the best rock climbing in Thailand.
After climbing in Railay and Ton Sai for 10 years, we set out to explore other islands. Our search for adventure eventually led us to Koh Yao Noi. Falling in love with the island and its people was easy. Realizing the climbing potential was a bonus.
We have been developing cliffs on and around KYN since 2004. Most of the 150+ climbs have been bolted with titanium bolts, the safest way to develop climbs. (Stainless steel bolts are notorious for breaking in this marine environment.)
Rock Climbing and More!
The Mountain Shop offers half day, full day or multi-day rock climbing instruction and private guided trips, as as well as arranging boats to and from various climbing areas. We also offer kayaking, snorkeling, bird watching, and fishing trips. If you just want to relax on white sandy beaches, The Mountain Shop offers local island tours. You can combine your climbing trip with other activities.
